    Default 2009 Season

Is it to early to start talking about next year fishing trips?

    Nope, I'm planning already.
Going to try and add a week fishing the Kvichak during 2009's fall trip to AK. I just hope the Canuck Buck rebounds before next September.

Waaaay too early to start caring about fishing. I love fishing, yes, but backcountry skiing season is upon us. The salmon are feeding at sea, and for that I am grateful, but until late April I have mountains to climb and chutes to ski.

    Default Sheesh Brian...

Snow is boring to eat!!! I have to say I like skiing but fishing will get the nod from me everytime; day, night, summer, winter, whatever! (of course I've never done the backcountry thing you're showing!)

Way to make us all feel old and out of shape. Heck, I'm in pretty good shape, but I don't have the inclination to that anymore.

15 years ago, it was a different story....and a lot easier to find unskied mountains. Is unskied a word? That just doesn't seem right somehow...

I'm already working on plans to get the family to Valdez for silvers next year. Can't wait

Great picture. Would love to do that. But with 5 knee surgeries I can't do that anymore. So all I have to do is look forward tell next fishing season.

Im all ready looking forward to Fishaplooza 09 on the kenai again. September 14th through the 27th for me next year. Dave your stopping by I hope. John is coming back up again from the sounds of it. Oh and I bought a new lantern. One of those high tech ones that you just screw the bottle into so it is safe to sit next to me when i light it. Got a chain saw too so wood will be plentifull.
