    how plausible of a hunt is this, and do the bous still have antlers

    i don't know about population up there that late. a lot of guys go back in march on a meat run... you may find some cows and youngsters still with a rack on. we saw about 30%of the bulls on the steece last week had already shed theirs...

    Thumbs down Been discussed here before...

    That's not a hunt, it's a survival mission.

    Jak, the conditions on the Haul road that time of year are dangerously cold and dark.
    Throw in some wind and it's as bad as you can imagine.
    The wind chills could be well below -100*.
