    Default pet loads

    Hey guys,
I'm looking to work up some pet loads for my .223.
I have not loaded this round yet and am looking for some powder sugestions fot these weather changes.
I have lots of bullet selections.
    Thanks in advance.

My .223 bolt gun likes Hodgdon Benchmark behind 55 grain Ballistic Tips.

I use Varget and 52grain sierras in my TC encore.

I've used several different powders with the .223, but mostly H335 & Varget. It is advertised that Varget is very tolerant of ambient temperature variations, but I have not tested this claim with my own chrony.

I've had good luck with H335, W748, and Benchmark powders in the .223, and RL-15 works well with 75gr bullets. I haven't chrony'ed the loads at different temperatures, though.

Ramshot Tac also is a very good powder for 223.

    Varget, RL15, VV140 all work good with heavy bullets, 75, 77, 80
WW 748 works good up to 69 gr
