    Default First catch

This is my first year trapping. I set out some foothold cubbies and some Marten boxes to see what I could do and I took a nice Lynx tonight. She measured out at 37 1/2", I was pumped that this was my first catch. I think there is at least one more in the area and hopefully I'll be bring it out soon!

I might rug it out. Not sure it was a huge pain in the Arse turning the lips and ears. I still have work to do but hopefully it will come out good enough. If not mabey some Lynx underwear for those cold nights !

I couldnt really find your cubbies so I built my own. They are all on the main trails. I did re-use your marten sets though. We went out today and adjusted everything. So we'll see what happens!

    Default Lynx

If you get a chance, try the meat from the lynx you catch. Turns white (like pork) when you cook it and it has a great taste. Don't think you'll be disappointed!
