Default 8' utility trailer long enough

for a sled? considering getting into it and I need a trailer first I think - vs - a 6'-6" bed.
Any sled recomendations also for hunt/fish/trap trail ride ect. in southcentral.

As long as your trailer tongue is long enough an 8 foot trailer is fine, but so is your 6"6" truck bed. My 4 door F250 has a short bed, with the tailgate down I haul my 9ft+ RMK around with no problems. Of course I have the sled secured to my tie-down points. (front and back). On a side note: Using 1" pan-head self-tapping screws, I faced the rungs of my aluminum tri-fold ramp with 1/4" strips of UHMW (teflon) plastic--1x8x1/4. Ski carbides bite raw aluminum HARD. You could use plywood in a pinch but it will get torn up much sooner.
