    Default Marlin Customer Service A+

    Purchased a new stainless guide gun Mar 06. Went on a 7 day hunt during the monsoon of late August. Forearm developed a crack along the grain which just got worse, about 1/8" x 3" now. Called Marlin this morning, before I could finish my story she asked for my address and told me a new forearm would be in the mail today. Painless customer service is a big plus to me.

    If you take it off and seal the inside really well it will help prevent those swelling cracks. I refinished mine in spray on bedliner along with sealing the inside of the wood. Its been going strong ever since. Great guns from a great company.

    Glad you posted this. Got my gg 4 or 5 years ago when they first came out.

    My 450 has a small crack up front where it meets the barrel band. Ill have to give them a call.
