Default busted my axle on my king quad

guess my rear brake was frozen, put in 4 low to break it loose like I have done in the pass, and it heard a snap and looked and had busted my axle, guess I should have put some heat on it, also has anybody drilled holes to let the water drain and does that work or is there a another fix I could do.

Perfect time to get a guerilla rear axle for your wheeler. How old is it? Newer King Quad or old school?

It would have to be an older one because if I am not mistaken the new ones have a central wet brake that locks both real wheels at the rear diff.

If your brakes have seal on the housing remove them water gets in anyways and dirt which shortens brake life. If water cant drain they will freeze. Big no to use power to brake them free if they are froze. Brake life on my old Quadrunner improved dramaticly when I removed seals.

Best deal would probably be motosport.com or ebay.
