Thread: Kenai Penninsula Steelhead?

    Default Kenai Penninsula Steelhead?

Just wondering if anyone is catching steelhead on the kenai(anchor or ninilchik rivers). I have never caught or even fished for steelhead so I am looking for any pointers that might increase my odds of catching one. Send me a PM if you have info but don't want to broadcast it over the forum. On a small side note I can confirm there are silvers in Whittier. I didn't have any luck catching them on roe or spinners but I am sure someone could snag them if they desired to. Good luck, can't wait till ice fishing season starts.
