    Default How Long Should Buffalo Hang

    I normally hangar moose for 4 or5 days before butchering, is buffalo any different? Any special secrets to taking care of the meat?

    Hang it the same as you would moose. You really have to watch the temps that we have been having lately. The sun will kill your meat in a hurry. Keep fans running 24 hrs a day. You want the temp to be in the low to mid 40's.
