    Default DF 140 Suzuki

For those who have a Suzuki 140, just wanted to ask what rpm you normally run at and what prop you use for a boat with a load. I'm running a 22' flat bottom with CMC lift. My motor runs strong, but I think I can tweak a few things to make it run more efficient with higher mph.

On my 23' tolman I'm using the suzuki 14X19 aluminum prop. As I recall, 4k rpm yields 21 knots ~6gph, 4.4k yields 23-24 knots 7 gph, and wot is about 6k rpm and 31 knots 11 gph.

I tried a solas 13 7/8 X 17 4 blade and got essentially the same mid range speeds at the same fuel consumption but at 400 more rpm. Max rpm was the same and speed was down a few knots
