    Default New here from Saskatchewan

Though we are not on the same parallel some of our gardening needs are very similar.

I am trying to find seeds of the wild fruit Edible Honeysuckle or Honeyberry that has been gathered by a home gardener and has good sweet or at least edible berries. I know that they are found into the Yukon and farther west into northern Japan.

Here is a link to my blog which which talks a little more about them and has links to other sites of information.

Welcome eh! There was a lady at the Farmer's Market here in Fairbanks selling Honeyberry plants... SOrry I don't have the name, but I'd bet that Holme Town Nurseries would be able to direct you to a grower.

    Default Thanks for the reply

I would sure be interested to see what she was selling. I will check with that Nursery by phone sometime soon as I found the listing on another web site.

I am amazed to see the things you folks are able to grow although I do know you have areas which are about the same as we have here in Central Saskatchewan.
