    Default Anchor Roller

Do you guys with the anchor rollers find that they do or do not drop fast enough when you are dropping anchor. My concern is that I will be way off my spot by the time my anchor hits the bottom. What is the drop speed on these?

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think it drops fast enough, my problem is that it doesn't roll no to the drum consistently which means that I have to be out there to bring to guide the line back on the drum. I am using 3/8" line. Anyone else have issues like this. How do you manage your anchor roller.

I have a switch up by the drum so I can feed the line on and work the switch at the same time. Still need some one to idle toward the anchor though.
