have done that a couple times first took 15-20 throwsfinally got it with a lob... last one was 10 feet away or less and nailed it first shot
.... that was after partner took 5-6 shots with his bow to get one.
my last one was a whitetailed ptarmigan rare to see and smallest. got 4 that day 3 with bow and one with the rock had 3 of them mounted.
