    Default 20D Antlerless

Never hunted Delta area before and am going in October for antlerless moose. Any suggestions on where to go appreciated.

There are different permits up there. You might get better suggestions if you're specific about which permit you hold.

Specific permit is gonna get you specific answers but what I can say is I pulled a permit last year for around Donnely Dome area and went a week after opening and was home around noon. If your looking for a answer on where they are your answer is everywhere. The whole Delta area is loaded with cows.

Default I'm doing the registration hunt

I am doing the registration hunt, not the drawing. From my understanding that includes everywhere in 20D south of the Tanana, east to the Johnson river with the exception of the Delta Junction Management area and the Bison Range Youth Hunt Management area. Not really looking for info on where the moose are but for recommended trail access, etc..

Look at the map available at hunt.alaska.gov That hunt has boundaries somewhat more restrictive than the drawing hunt it is replacing.

    Default Permit

You also have to be 2000 feet or above to harvest a moose. It does not say it in the general description, or online, but if you call ADFG they will tell you.

Check boundaries much closer or you will have legal problems....

    Question

Has everyone received their permits yet? My daughters have not received their DM798 permits in the mail yet.

Never mind just found out they came weeks ago and my wife tucked them away for safe keeping.
