Default How Long have you been a full-time resident of Alaska?

The question says it all. I am not talking about "I fished here for 4 summers, that equals 1 year. I am talking about all around the calander.

Good polling idea, but you needed to get catagories beyond "10+ years." Obviously.

That catagory consumes over 50% now.

The subsistence applications (state) top out at 50 years.

Does all this mean that 50 years or so is big stuff?

Just passed the 10 year point. Now, the guys I have coffee with at the local coffee shop say I have been here long enough to "ocassionaly" venture an opinion about Alaska politics. But they still don't have to listen to me if they don't want to. )

By the time I've lived here long enough that they'll listen to me, they will be too old to care anymore. sigh.

Same here, but after 4 years in Squarebanks, I spent the rest of my time split between Kodiak and Sitka.

I've seen darn near the whole spread, and am happy down here faking it in the S.E. section.
