    Default Thursday's Report

The lack of wind and rain today kept the birds on the water and out of the air. Two of us finished with 1 mallard, 1 pintail, and 4 greenwings. I'll take windy and rainy vs. calm and buggy anyday. Come on colder temps up north. Anybody seeing sandhills in the Anchorage/Valley area?

Thanks for the update on the sandhills. Got a tip on a field that held a bunch last year waiting for the weather to improve. I might have to scout it out this week and who knows....maybe I'll get lucky.
