    Default Valley fishing late Sept

I'll be getting back around the 18th; will there be any worthwhile fishing in the Valley/Parks Streams around that time?

The salmon will be ugly but there may be some rainbows. I would say head to the Kenai there are some good silvers down there then.

Where on the Kenai would be a good place to try from shore? They won't let me take the SportJon on that river.

ADN reports that Jim Creek gets a second run of silvers into October.

Default I was at Jim yesterday

There are a few fish moving up the channel but neither me or the 2 other fishermen I saw caught any in a few hours.

    Default Jim Creek

I was out there today and did pretty well. I think there are quite a few fish coming in again out there. Go get um, some are turning red up in the creek.

Has anybody ever targeted trout up in the (Jim) creek?

I'm also interested in fishing sites for second half of September.

    Thanks in advance!

I have targeted dollies in lower Jim Creek in late September and have done okay. Over the last 3 years the dollies have gone from an average of 8 to 10 inch fish to 14 inch plus.
