    Default Steiner Predator Pro Binoculars

I am looking at a set of 10x26 as a lightweight companion to my 257 WM for deer hunting this fall. Does anyone have any experience with these or about Steiner Binoculars in general???

I looked at Steiners at Sportsmans Warehouse. The sales guy told me that they weren't very reilable because the eye pieces kept breaking. The test pair they had was broken. The optics seemed good.

    Thumbs up

I've had a pair for 4 years and have had no problems with them.

I bought a pair of Steiner, Predators I think, 10 x 40s seven years ago and have not had a problem with the ey pieces. I have had a problem with the objective dust covers. Over all a good set.

    Default At the shop now

I've got a set, well I guess I should say that steiner has my set in for repairs right now. I have used the crap out of these for the past two years and they show it. If I had it to do over I would not get this paticular pair of steiners. The focus moves to easy and like the other post said the eye pieces break. You can always send them in for repairs but it may be just when you need them.
