Default Finally a good load for my 300WM M-700 XCR tactical

I finally found a good load for my 300 Win Mag M-700 tactical 1 in 10 twist 26 inch barrel. Talk about a picky rifle.

    180 grain Nosler Accubond boat-tail
    74.0 grains IMR 4831
    CCI -250 primer
    WW Brass
Light crimp with a COL of 3.400 inches.

    Velocity for 5 shots. 3,123 - 3,120 - 3,125 - 3,123 - 3,128 FPS
Group at 100 yards 0.50 inches.

Right now I am impacting 1.3 inches high at 100 yards. I need to find a ballistics program to figure the drop for this projectile.

I have another load using 168 grain match bullets that shoots a smaller group, but it is not worth much as a hunting projectile.

I just got an e-mail update from www.neco.com tht said they added a bunch of new bullets to the Quick load program. They have a free 30 trial package for Quick load, I think. You might want to try that. I had and old lap-top that I installed Quick load on a few years ago for taking to the range, sometimes I even remember to take it with me.
