Default Case's catch of a lifetime!

Delaney Leigh Harris arrived today at 8:00 am... 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 inches long... not exactly a "keeper" according to many of our fishing regs, but she's sure a record in my book! ;-)

PS: Sorry for the low-res camera/phone pic... I'll fix it later. In the meantime, off to clean my catch (yes, I drew diaper duty again!) ;-)

I had no idea you were expecting, Case. Congrats!

(By the way, my three month old boy is looking at the screen with interest. She may have a suitor in 15 years)

    Default Congrats!

Looks like a keeper to me! Just looking at the picture brings back all those great feelings of holding my little ones for the first time.

How many rod and reels have you bought for her? I see nothing but great fishing trips with dad ahead

Right now she's biting on a small, wrinkly hand, but I think it was a strip of mackerel on white rice with a dusting of wasabi that originally "hooked" her mom!

I would throw it back if I were you!!! At least with a salmon you only have to clean it once!!!! You'll be cleaning this catch several times a day for years!!!!!!!

    Congrats!!!!!

Wow, another Harris! She looks like a real sweetie and a keeper no matter what scale or measure you are using!

She's our third... Libby is 8, Bradley is 5, and with Delaney around, I've got about a 15 year supply of deckhands running about! ;-) Oh, if anyone is too worried about my organizational skills, the family is now alphabetized... Amanda, Bradley, Case, Delaney, Elizabeth.
