    Default KP Steelhead??????

I have been fishing the Anchor in September for the last five years, this year I want to fish some new water for them. How is the fishing in Deep Creek and Ninilchik for September steelies. What are these rivers like to fish??? Are they walk and wade or raftable???
Thanks in advance for your replies.

They are walk and wade dave. As you know the water depends on the weather. If the rains dont blow it up both streams are very good places to catch steelies. Im looking at heading down there for a day or two myself during my trip. As I said. If the rains come forget it. They blow up and your fishing in mud. If not, then there is some great fishing there then. We can discuss this more in town and of course around the fire

Thanks for the info Chuck. I thought they were walk and wade fisheries, just wanted to make sure.
I know all to well about their ability to blow out.
But that is why this site : http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ak/nwis/rt is so important to me!!!! It put me on the Anchor perfectly last year!!!!
