Partner and I got two great double broomed rams by walking into the Brooks Range last week. My ram measured 36.5 x 14.25, 12 years old. Green scores 162.

    Default Nice!!!!!

Well done guys. My hats off to you both on some fine animals on a walk-in hunt at that. How long did it take you to figure out they were broomers and not sub-legal? Were you close enough to tell with a spotting scope or did it take some time?

Congratulations. Looks like your ram took a fall; is there a story associated with that? How was your weather?

As one who is forced to live vicariously through others this sheep season, thanks for posting.

    Default Great job!

Just great rams, that's for sure! Now please give us a little story, rifles/calibers, weather facts, equipment failures and successes.

Why do you think so many Brooks rams broom? Nice sheep you guys have there. Looks like they were in some rough stuff.
