Default Where to go for Seward silvers

I hope somebody has some advice for a new guy. I have never fished for silvers in Seward. I am taking the wife and brother to Seward on a halibut charter (through the military resort) over labor day weekend and I am hoping to get an afternoon to look around for some Silvers. Any advice on gear and location would be appreciated. Thanks folks.

    Wink Slow in the Bay

Right now, but by Labor Day, it may pick up. Drop a herring with some weight over the side of the boat (just out of site) & do a slow jig.
