Looking at the historical chart it seems that the largest bulk of the run has yet to come in or is just now starting.

That first surge of fish was very noticable and is now in the Houston area and beyond. It was only about 1300 fish in a week period.

Imagine what 10000 fish in a week period would be like.

That is what may be coming.

My guess is that most people are gearing up for moose and just let the run go by unnoticed.

I think the E.O. for three silvers is premature but I think there were alterior motives for making all the streams that required you to stop fishing change to three silvers. But whatever.

The Little Su is the only stream that has a weir this year and to up the limit after only 1760 fish go by???!!!

Anyways enjoy the fishing. I know I will.

I have thought that if something bad happens to me on the operating table at least my kids can remember the good times we had silver fishing this year. It hurts like h*** to keep going but I also need the meat since I was thrown to the curb by the work comp insurance.
