What is the typical set up for fishing for silvers in bird creek?

    Default could

I confess - I haven't actually been there - you could try some flossing - I am sure that the pinks and some silvers and chums would hit it. You could use a bead also.

Yarn flies work too, but you'll have to sort through all the pinks. Went yesterday, and the silvers were hitting eggs under a bobber or free drifting. Pinks were hitting the eggs too.

Saw a skinny black bear on the big parking lot side (opposite from us) wandering the bank, so be watchful.

    Default Bird

I went after work yesterday and caught a nice fat silver with the old reliable green pixie. I was drifting yarn and a corkie until the tide came in and then switched to the spoon as the water got deep. Watched a couple coolers float down stream as the tide came in. I didn't see the black bear. I like to hang out at the mouth of the creek to avoid the bear encounters. Lots of pink salmon.
