    Default Fishing in unit 22D

My best friend and I are heading up to Unit 22D, northeast of Teller, from 8 to 16 Sept. We'll have time to fish. I'm told it's very good fishing for Grayling, Char, maybe some Chum salmon and Dolly Varden.

Hoping to pick your brains concerning terminal tackle and techniques. I spin fish only.

    Default 22D

Inline spinners always worked for me when I was living in Nome. We also used just a basic blue fox pixie, both of those lures would catch everything from dollies to salmon. What rivers are you going to have access to?

Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.

I do believe it will be the American and the Agiapuk.

    Default Ahh

Across the Immuruk Basin huh, you must be taking a boat across from Teller. Yeah I'm sure its just like any river around the Nome Area, inline spinners, pixies, I would bring different sizes. Good Luck, hope your trip goes well. Here is a good reference to read about some rivers around the area:
