Default Spin rods on the upper Kenai

Ok, its hard to ask this kind of question as i am VERY loyal to my 5 wt! But, How do you set-up the spin rods for trout on the upper. i always see these guys on the banks chillin letting them drift so far down... i love my 5 wt but i didnt buy my gl ultrlight for nothing! got to admit the ultra lite was fun on gulkana grayling!!! but i want some pig trout on the end of that rod.

One of the most productive methods would be floats and jigs. ANything from an egg sucking leach jig to flesh jigs, There are few things more fun than float fishing, I would opt for a longer rod, somethign from 7-9 feet would be about right, with light action.
