    I'm sorry, this was taken last year. Not sure what I was thinking when I posted, I took this when we were having those big forest fires up north.

    Pretty light.

    Couple years ago I took some nice pictures on a raft trip with the extra pink glow of the Sun setting behind a forest fire. Disasters often spice up life and photo.

    I hear that, it's unfortunate that there are such disasters, and it's not something you wish for, but something you take advantage of when you can. To the right of this photo there was an approaching thunderstorm, and every few minutes a small bolt of lightning would arch over the trees in the background. I couldn't get any of them with the sunset, they were just too unpredictable and the light was falling fast. The sky was amazing.
