Can anyone please tell me about running the Tannana from Manley Hot Springs to the Yukon?

Depending on how big of a boat you're running, there is only one spot that could get a little hairy if you pick the wrong channel. It's down pretty close to the mouth, and if you can read a river fairly well, shouldn't even be a problem.

The Tanana from Manley to the Yukon has changed a lot over the years - The channel has moved considerably compared to the topo maps. Pretty straight forward reading the river until you get to Squaw Crossing about 10 miles above the Yukon - This area can be tough to figure out where the channel is and spreads out really wide. If the Tanana gets really low this run changes into another story. Tanana to Ruby is a fairly easy run - if you stay in the main channel you should see at least 30 feet of water. Start taking short cuts through the islands and you save time but start losing that depth.
