Default Last trip of the year for silvers.

Well this morning was my last trip of the year for silvers.

I took Austin(7) and Gabby(5) with me. My plan was to get up at 4 AM and be at Burma at 5AM. I woke up at 6am and got there at 7am. I could only fish until 9am but decided 2 hours fishing are better than none.

Turned out the fishing was great we lost a couple but still limited the boat.
I caught mine on a kwikfish and the other four were caught on eggs behind a corky.

I was only a couple bends down from the island.

These were all bright fish too. One had sea lice on it still.

We caught two from one hole and then all four others were the next hole 100 feet downstream. In the lower hole we got four fish in about six passes. I think we had one on every pass.

Good luck to anyone who tries Burma in the next day or so.

    A couple pics.

After a nervous night and morning I got the call that my surgery will be rescheduled for the 25th. There is an emergency operation going on right now. (prayers sent).

Love the pics with the kids. Good job on getting them on the fish! Thanks for the report!

    RMiller,

Good luck on the surgery. Quite amazing that you still have found time to take your kids fishing right before this. Best wishes for you and your family .

I am paying for it right now though. I just got up from a muscle relaxer induced nap. Those things are lame. I cant wait to get off that junk.
