    Default Alaska Shooters do good

    More good news and congratulations to Mike Milhollin and Bob Engelbach!

    At the Black Powder Cartridge National Matches just held in Raton, NM, Michael Milhollin won a gold medal (first place) as the high senior in Position Mid-Range and won third overall in the same match. After the first day, Michael was first.

    Bob Engelbach came in seventh overall in the Position Mid-Range.

    Alaskan Ron Fleischhacker National Service Rifle Civilian Champion

    Ron Fleischhacker of Eagle River, firing a semi automatic AR15, shot a score of 2359-79x on the 2400 point Rifle Course at Camp Perry, Ohio over 3 day period.
    Placing second in the National Service Rifle Championship, he was High Civilian Service Rifle Shooter, competing against 319 other Service Rifle Shooters. He placed 8th in the overall National High Power Rifle Championship match in a field of 459 competitors.

    Default My father in law

    shoots at Raton every year - he has won it twice...I have shot a couple times with them - it is a whole lot harder than it looks. And I didn't have to mould and reload my cartridges - and he knew where they hit I had it easy.
