    Default flood problems

    Ok here is deal
I am worried bout the season this year because of the flood problem we are having this year. There is so much more water this year than past years for the ducks to land in that its going to spread the ducks out. I havent seen nearly as many ducks this year compared to past years around here. Take the extra water plus low duck numbers and that equals a crappy duck season. Anyone else think the same or am I just crazy? Maybe I just cant wait for the season to open and I am worrying about nothing, but I think there is a problem

    Default Yep...

I have notice that too. I was at Manchu lake today and not one duck on it! .

I will crossing over to the flats this week so I find out how it is over there. But I have notice that the ducks don't need to fly as much with the water table as high as it is.

Not to say that it can't be a good season, time will only tell.

    Default flood problems

hi, guys Ms. Gandhi, who made an aerial inspection of the flood-affected areas of Assam and Meghalaya and also visited relief camps of Dhubari and Morigaon districts of Assam, told presspersons that the Central Government would extend all possible help to the Assam Government to tide over the present crisis. The All-India Congress Committee (AICC) would provide an aid of Rs. 20 lakh for the flood-affected people of Assam.

I hunt ducks on the east cost, but flodd years are some of the best year's i've had!

It does change patterns, and you need to get on your horse and scout, but it opens up all kinds of new places. Not sure if you have acorns in AK, but theres not like flooded oak stands, on the shore here tidal marshes expand as well and open up alot of great pockets.

If you have thye time to put in floods pay off.
