    Default Late season Lings

Do lincod change habitat and/or depth like halibut do? I know Halibut go deeper as the season gets later but do the lings change any of their habits?

Lings are homebodies. They don't move around much at all from what I have read. Which makes sense as they are areas that you can't fish for lings because they were over fished. Just look at Resurrection Bay. Outside the bay there is a whole ton of lings. Inside, not so much but it is recovering. I have had good success catching lings until I can't...ok more like won't take the boat out anymore.

They tend to stay in an area. As long there is structure IE rocks they will move around the rocks. I'm heading to Seward this weekend and going after them once more along with silvers.
