Default How Do You Boil Down Scraps Of Fish For Dog Food?

I've heard a few of you guys talking about boiling down scraps to make dog food. Just wondering how you go about that and what the end result is like?

A crock pot in the garage...that's the thing in the bottom of the closet or pantry under an inch of dust...fill half w/ water, some rice, oatmeal, a few carrots, a little garlic for their breath and Walla'la doggie slump...my two guys love it better than a new butt to sniff.

    Default dog food

I use a pressure cooker and throw in heads, guts carcasses and all. Cook at 10#'s for a half hour to 45 mins. (until the bones are soft) and then put in the freezer to store. Mix it in w/ dry food and the two Labs love it. One note though, the roe turns into little indegesitible BB's and just passes right through.

Awesome, thanks for that visual. So I just leave the bones in then? Am I looking for a runny soup type consistency?
