    Default Little Su 7-30

had a great time on the lil su last night. Almost caught all 5 species of salmon on the same river in the same hole in the same night, all except a Red. hooked in to a monster king, never saw him. had the fennwick doubled over and the drag locked down as far as it would go and he was still taking me for ride. almost spooled me at one point. what a fight that was. played him for around 15 minutes trust me i kept the line tight the whole time but in the end he spit my hook. the line snapped like it broke the line but it didnt break he threw the hook. how, i dunno. i sure wish id had landed him cause i know he was one of those legendary hogs. regardless caught a couple other kings a few chum a couple silvers and a couple pinks. it was fish soup out there. we were using the normal #4 and 5's Vibrax. blue seemed to be the color of choice for the night. the big one took a #5 blue Vibrax with the red spoon. a couple were caught on hot pink nothing in yellow and green. the water is still high and muddy but lower and clearer than last weekend. regardless didnt have much trouble catching fish.

    Default Hey preed,

How far down did you have to go? Are they still down quite a ways or are they moving up towards the landing? Thanks...

    Default same here

I was there today and saw nothing but fish coming out. I got my 2 in less than 30 minutes up river. I had a blast. Going again tomorrow. Man I cant wait. That was a blast. they are all over the place. the high water seemed to help bring them in. Go get your fish and be safe.
