Default Solo self guided black bear hunt - advice?

I am a AK non resident who has been on six or so guided black bear hunts over the past ten years (all in British Columbia). I am researching doing a AK solo, self guided bowhunt (posting here because the bowhunting forum doesn't seem to be as active).

I don't really want to do a road hunt, but would prefer a fly-in to get remote.

I would appreciate any advice and/or recommendations on where and what fly-in service to us.

    Thanks in advance

    Default Boat in...

P, forget the fly-in gig and boat in to Kuiu.
Get yourself a great bear in excellent bear country.

Search the archives here for details...

    Default SE Blacks

If you have use of a boat in SE AK. Beach cruising spotting and stalking can produce some nice trophy blacks. Hunt the mainland, not the islands. Only brownies on the islands. Spring hunt
