    Default Willow ??

    I got two 75 yr old ladies wanting to catch a couple. Both handicap. I want o takem to an easy place to get to and catchem a couple. any info will help?

    I believe the Little su has a good handicap ramp. Its a little far out from the hole it sits in front of though I think. The handicap spot at the kenai/russian confluence is really good. Id take them there.

    As far as the willow area, nothing comes to mind. But probably the mouth of the willow is your best bet.


    Good Luck! If you can swing it a boat trip is probably in order.

    Default Sheep Creek

    Just got back from Sheep Creek, my son and I caught our first Alaska Salmon and got our limit . Sheep Creek is very accessible and there was only a handful of people there. I would consider the additional 15 minute ride to Sheep vs the Willow.

    Check out today's Anchorage Daily News for the photo of guys fishing for Silvers on Campbell Creek near Dimond Blvd. Has a grated plate form to stand on.

    I would think Eklutna early in the morning would be the best for access to the fishing.
