Thread: Fair price for M70 Classic Safari Express .458?

Default Fair price for M70 Classic Safari Express .458?

Is $800 good? Lightly used. New-in-box auctions are $1500ish so seems it might be a great deal. Either that or it's not the gun I think it is. Waddaya think?

With minimal discription its hard to say.

If it is the Controlled Round Feed action then that is a great price and it is the gun you think it is. These regularly go $1300+ Brand new only gets $100-$200 more than used.

If it is a push feed then $800 is top dollar for new or used..

It would be a good rifle to turn around and sell for more.

Well I did the deal. He added 120 rounds of brass and dies to boot. Now I just need to move up north so I can put it to good use. I'm sure I'll have some loading questions soon since I've never loaded for a belted magnum and my 7mm mag was next on my list anyway.

Yes but was it the tag that said classic or was the gun box right there. I have seen many advertised as "classics" that turned out to be push feed in the pics.
