    Just There For A Week As Of 7/29 All The Rivers Are Loaded With Pinks......but You Have To Eat Them Fresh Or Can Them Otherwise They Get Mushy When You Freeze Them .....

    Talked to a friend that runs a charter yesterday. They'd been out for almost a week and were doing well on ling cod and halibut. Sounds like the silvers are running a bit late.

    Pinks and dollies are getting thick in most rivers now, just look from any bridge and you'll probably see them. Been doing well on pink flies, haven't seen the hardware chuckers catching much until yesterday. If you want reds go to Pasagshak with the crowds (everybody is there since the Buskin is closed) or hire someone to take you to Saltery. No sign of the silvers yet, but since everything is late this year it'll probably be the end of the month before the run really starts.
