    Default Good Gunsmith in Anchorage

Are there any out there? I did not see any in the sponsers section.... I would really appreciate any help here as I need to get my Ruger m77 mk11's trigger set to 3 pounds instead of 7.3 haha

Can't remember the name but the new one next to Wiggy's Alaska at Old Seward and Dimond is already getting a good reputation.

Go to the shooting tab on the forum and check out the sponsor there. They got some pics of their shop as well and their work has been reported as excellent.

Also, check out Stan Jackson. He might be busy though...

    Default Andy Hawk-Anchorage

Recommended by another forum member (Alangaq), I had some work done by Andy Hawk, 562-0881. I found him to be fair, personable and did the work exactly how and when he said he would.

A friend just had a M77 MkII turned into a ".338 Alaskan" by Stan Jackson. Rifle looks and shoots good.

    Trimmed the barrel to 21"
    Moved the front sight back
    Installed KDF style muzzle brake
    perform trigger job
    bead blast finish.

    Work appears first rate.

Yesterday I ran into an Old Girlfriend and I thought I missed her...
So I backed up and hit her again, ya know sometimes I really do miss her!!
