Default Kenai peninsula pinks this weekend(8/26)

Can anyone recommend where I might find some pinks this weekend? I'm heading down to Seward tuesday. I'm looking to stop along the way for some pinks. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA.

Stop at Ingram Creek. There is a turn-off for it right as you turn up into Turnagain Pass. If you're not really familiar with the area, go past Portage and the Whittier Road (about 10 miles past Girdwood) and over Placer Creek. About 2 miles further down the road you'll turn up away from the water. You'll cross a bridge here...and now you've gone too far. Make a U-Turn and pull off on the mountain side of the road. There should be plenty of pinks in there, though I don't think you'll find any worthy of eating. If you just want to wet a line, this is a dandy place...and never any crowds. Good luck!
