Default Mouth of Kenai and salt

Went there for the first time last week dipnetting. Someone mentioned that I should flush my motor out because due to the tides that it's salt water. What's the scoop? Thanks!

I would flush for sure I forget how far up the river is effected by the tide but I think it's above the dipnetting area therefore salt water has gotten through the motor so just be safe and flush it

    Default 06 is right

Ditto, flush for brackish and salt water and dirty water. Helps with the long life of a water pump. A few senconds is great preventitive maintenance.
