    Default Seward

Seward wasn't too bad for silvers yesterday. Me and the Mrs picked up 6 trolling. A buddy of ours got 24. We had to call it quits early but if we stuck around for a little while longer we would've came out with a few more fish. Hope that helps.

    Default Thanks

I have 16 days untill I hit the water for silvers. I think Im going to hit Valdez but it will depend on weather and the fish.

    Thanks for the update

Both can be great. I prefer Seward as it is close to the bottom fish as well. But, Valdez has nice protection from the swell, waves, and the other uglies that Seward most certainly can have.

Chances are it will rain, the seas will be 10 feet, and while all this is happening, there will be breaks of sunshine. While I like it flat calm, Pony is the place to be for silver fishing.

    Default Im thinking

It will be sunny and 75. But the seas will be 5-7 feet.

Lets just hope it works out for my out of state buddies.

    Default Here's the boat

It's been fun. Id like to get a 70-90 hp motor for running in the salt. It has the 50 for the kenai!

Still a good all around. I only burn 5-8 miles per gallon. With a 24 gallon tank.
