Default A weekend with the Kids on Patience!

    Thanks spoiled one!!

Last week spoiled one called me to see if I was up for a weekend on the water that was about the kids. We headed to the Whittier Tunnel on Friday and upon arriving at 1:30 found out the tunnel had been closed for two hours due to technical difficulty. After waiting for about another hour and twenty minutes the tunnel opened. We loaded up and launched Patience. After parking the truck spoiled one picked me up at the fuel dock. MAN she looks fantastic on the water. Pics just don't do it justice.

The kids wasted no time getting into the snack mode.

After making it out into Port Wells it was a typical Port Swells day. Chop, Caps, Wind, Rain, Waves. As we were working our way out we got a call from the Ferry Chenega. After switching channels the ferry told us they were very impressed with how the boat was handling the conditions and inquired about the boat. After a few minutes on the radio they bid us good journey. Upon arriving at our destination we dropped shrimp pots and collected some ice for the coolers.

After dinner the kids decided they wanted to get a little fishing time in, after all, it was their weekend!

After a good night sleep and cinnamon rolls for breakfast (the oven is sweet!) it was time for a beach walk.

I love the sunsets out there!

Time for a movie before bed.

Did a little Halibut fishing and made one last stop before calling it a trip!

Dads were to busy taking pics I took my 6 year old boy and spoiled one took his boy and girl. Spoiled one probably has a few more pics but here is a pic of the captain enjoying the ride!

Default Good times and good company.

My pictures look about the same as D Man's pics. I should have taken some of the kids fishing and popping shrimp tails. It was a great trip! Nothing like unwinding out on the water. I also need to get some video and stillsof Patience coming out of the hole and at speed. Guess we will have to make one more trip.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.

    Default Nice pictures!

Your pictures of the adventure with your kids are great! We went out on our first trip on our new boat with our family and had a great time too. Caught some rock fish... we'll be heading out again soon!
