Default help with the egg rig

I am a newbie to the egg rig. My girlfriend wants to try it and

    1. I don't know where to get them

    2. I have seen the egg roes but I don't know how to rig them.

Can anyone help out here with some pics on how to rig these eggs? (I realize that you guys are probably not taking pictures of this but anything would help.)

Also, where do I get them?

    Thanks in advance.

it depends on what are you fishing for and how. fast river, slow, deep, bottom fishing (noodle rod) , drift/float (centerpin), flipping, etc.

This post has lots of pictures.

Where do you plan on fishing?

If it is ship creek or eklutna tailrace shrimp may work as well or in my opinion better. I still use an egg loop with shrimp. But a $4 pack of shrimp will last longer than those $10 packs of eggs.

Excellent Thx RMiller. Planning trying this on Jim Creek. I am going to read through that thread and digest it, looks like exactly what I needed to know.
