    Default Leupold VXL

Hey guys looking at replacing my old Bushnell on my model 700 300 WM. With a Leupold. I looked at a VXL at sportsman's and I really liked it. Just wondering if anybody has any good or bad input. Thanks in advance.

    Default VXL

I just put one on my 700 mtn 270. Liked the B&C reticle and the large objective lense for low light not to mention the lower profile. Had to go with medium rings as the variable power ring adjuster had clearance issues with the ring base and low rings. Leopold or Butler Creek needs to make a fiitted flip-up cap for the big end but will get by til somebody does. Top shelf optics for a reasonable price you'll love it.

Have had one for a couple years now and like it. Big objective yet sits low. Leupold does have the flip up cover for the objective now. Ordered one from them 4 months ago and fits nicely.
