    Default Why not Argo?

O.K. give me the low down blow down as to why not get an Argo! Been lookin at ATV, UTV and ARGO's.
Even a jackass won't stumble on the same stone twice.

    Cons:
    1. no suspension = VERY rough ride
    2. expensive
    3. slow
    4. steers like a tank
    5. too wide for lots of trails
    6. very little ground clearance
    7. not at all suited to technical, steep, or rocky trails

    Pros:
    1. somewhat amphibious
    2. can be enclosed w/ cabin heater
    3. can carry several passengers

Roger, what changed in the newer (2000 and up) models?

    I'm looking at a 98 Conquest.

    Thanks

I went from home built swamp buggies in the 60s to the first atv 3 wheelers to argos and maxs, a cushman tracked vehicle, then to 4 wheelers.
I put over 5,000 miles in on argos. I won't ever ride in one again, if I'm injured and that's the only ride I'll let them drag me.
THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE RIDE IN THE WORLD AND SLOW.
I know a lot of you guys have them and like them, that's fine. This is my experience after trying everything and is only my opinion.

Proved that statement didnt you...My opinion is you have to evaluate what the majority of terrain your gonna tackle is and make a purchase accordinally. I would LOVE to have an Argo for the swamp riding although my 4 wheelers are more suited to most of my riding situations. GET BOTH!
