    If I was worth millions my Alaskan hunting rifles would still be wearing a VX III of some sort.

    I agree 100%...I consider the VX III 3.5-10-40mm to be one of the best hunting scopes ever period...

    It's not like Leupold won't come out with something better. I wouldn't be concerned about that at all. I'm more worried about what the price is going to be on the new lineup of scopes that will replace the VX-III.

    I'm so cheap and set in my ways I never even got past the vari X-II. The X-II works so well for me I could never justify the extra expense of the X-III.

    Me too. A friend of mine turned me on to Leupold and I have bought only Leupold since.
