Default Fishing in Hope - Which part of the tide???

Just wondering if high tide is the best or if it really matters? I really want to get my son on some pinks in the next couple of weeks.

I like to start fishing there at high tide. Sometimes if it is a huge tide the water comes up to much to fish at the mouth though. Once the tide starts going out the fishing is usually hot and heavy all over the area.

The fish will come in on the tide then seem to rest in areas of quieter water. Personally I fish all the time but the best is about an hour after the high tide rolls in.

Had a good time with you AKChuck, my in-laws say the pinks look good now in Hope. Go figure...TSS
