My dad has been here 39 years and didn't get one. He and my mother get one almost every year, but not this year.

yes but there are other factors besides longevity

for instance I got 25 points for longevity (probably screwed myself out of 4 or 5 there)

    total of 40 points

can't recall what the other points were for

so...........anybody know how many points you needed to get drawn?

Angry 51 Points, but no Golden Ticket

I have been here 40 years this year. I live in Meadow Lakes and buy my food and gas out here. I am an historic user of the GMU and we earn just over $50,000 for household. I earned 51 points, and was NOT awarded a permit.

Don't feel bad guys. My dad is 51 years old born and raised here and a using of the nelchina for over 25 years. Heck he couldn't even draw it back in 2005when we still lived in Cantwell and was 48 years old and bought most of our gas right in Cantwell. So go figure. Gives ya something to look forward to right? Oh well I guess we'll just keep beating our heads against the wall.
